Electromechanical erection of iron ore handling facilities
INDUPROJ delivers the complete electromechanical erection of an ore handling chain: primary and secondary crushing stations, screening tower, transfer tower, belt conveyors and rail loading station, together with the associated electrical and control rooms. The scope covers all disciplines under a single contract, through to testing and commissioning assistance.
More than 5,000 tonnes of heavy steel structures, heavy plate work and mechanical equipment erected. Several tens of kilometres of power and control cables. More than 30 machines mobilised on site, including cranes up to 400 tonnes and man lifts up to 42 metres.
A remote mining site in a desert area — extreme heat, abrasive dust, distance from logistics bases. Equipment and machinery shipped from Morocco by multimodal road, sea and rail transport. Heavy lifts at great height and millimetre alignment tolerances on crushing and loading equipment. Permanent coactivity with civil works and ongoing mining operations.
The project involves a significant volume of site welding, notably on the loading silos — structures welded in position, in an uncontrolled environment and under dimensional tolerance constraints. This work falls within our EN 1090-2 EXC4 and ISO 3834-2 certifications: welding coordination by an IWT, qualified welders, approved WPS and WPQR, full traceability of welds and heat numbers, dimensional control by total station and laser measurement.
Heavy intervention on the processing plant
Kinross undertook the upgrade of the Tasiast plant to raise milling capacity to 24,000 tonnes per day.
Every day of shutdown means directly lost production. No possibility of overrun.
Replacement and installation of mining equipment, transfer towers, conveyors and structural rework, alongside the client's own teams.
More than 150 people mobilised.
Plant handed back ahead of schedule, 0 LTI. INDUPROJ successfully delivered the SMPP scope of the Tasiast 21K and 24K expansions.
4.5 km of conveyors across rough terrain
Material haulage from the mountain quarry to the new LHM cement plant, over a route of almost five kilometres.
Continuous alignment over the full length, difficult access for lifting equipment, and the need to install support towers on uneven ground.
Erection of support structures, walkways, drive and take-up stations, conveyor installation and alignment, belting and testing.
Complete line erected and commissioned, in continuous operation since handover.
CBG C8–C12 expansion project
Expansion of the bauxite processing and export capacity of the Kamsar complex, one of the region's largest mining terminals.
Working within a continuously operating facility, in a tropical climate, with a fully imported logistics chain.
Mechanical erection of handling equipment and associated structures, delivered through our Guinean subsidiary based in Conakry.
Establishment of a permanent base in Guinea and trained local teams, available for subsequent projects.
